LGBT Switch from Firefox to Opera Browser

I just wanted to give everyone a link to OPERA web browser. I have always used Firefox, but I do not support companies that oppose Equality. I switched to Opera at the beginning of the week and I have to say it is even better than Firefox. Lets give our business to someone who deserves it!

Turning 30... FML

So..  Today I turn 30. Like most of my B-days this one is shaping up to suck just as bad as my other b-days. Friday I went to the dentist in Springfield to get a tooth puled.  I have never had a cavity before so I was totally freaked out when I got to the office. The procedure actually went very well and there was little to no pain involved :D!!  The doctor gave me a script for Tylenol 4 and we head home to get our kids. We went to my pharmacy to fill the script and they inform me that they don’t carry Tylenol 4...   So, we now have a 30 min drive back to Dan's Pharmacy. We drive back to town and drop the script off at 4:15(ish) and chill at Randi's mom's house for an hour. When I get back to “Dan's” They can't find me in their computer system. They search for about 10 minutes find me under my maiden name and tell me that I have no scripts at their location. So, I begin to get pissed . Generally I am good at controlling my temper but the lady is so snotty and bitchy that I just want to jump through the window   and bitch slap her. She finally talks to another worker and finds my scripts over on some table. She comes back and, with a pointed glance at my rainbow flag, tells me she can't fill my Tylenol 4 script without an antibiotic script to go with it. (I had already received my antibiotic two days prior because I had an infection in the tooth they were going to pull.) I explain the situation to her and she says that she has to call the dentist or pharmacy to confirm.  WTF??  Now? AFTER 5?!? Bitch you had my script in plenty of time to call anyone but you didn't do your job and now I get to go all weekend w/o my meds?!?  So, long story short She wont fill my pain meds until she talks to my dentist or pharmacist (both closed at 5 and don’t open again until Monday). So here I am sitting in her drive through with a hole the size of a thumb in my head. Praying  that the throbbing will stop so I can think straight. This bitch is telling me that I can't get me pain meds and that I will be w/o them all weekend. I demanded my scripts back and peeled out of the parking lot.  At this point all I can see is red and my mouth hurts so bad I just want to pound my fists into a concrete wall. We headed to Walgreens just to find out thst they don’t stock Tylenol 4.  Long story short this is day 3 of throbbing tooth pain, and I still want to punch a wall. Happy 30 Tavia  you get to wake up two hours early to a throbbing mouth.

The only redeeming part of this birthday has been my wife and kids. Randi has waited on me hand and foot since my tooth was pulled, and she got me special ice cream! I have been in a horrible mood all weekend and she just ignores my attitude and tells me she loves me. My kids have spent all weekend telling me happy birthday and dong their best to ensure I have a good week. They have drawn me multiple pictures and gone out of their way to help us around the house. My mouth may hurt but my family makes up for it in every way possible. If it weren’t for them I would be completely manic rite now.

So, now I go online to fine something to distract me from my tooth and I have a happy birthday message, on Deviant Art, from a friend of mine   I mean my family (birth family not wife and kids) rarely remember my B-day so it really touched me that anyone took the time to wish me a happy b-day!!

So, When it comes down to it I don’t care if my mouth hurts I have the best wife, kids, and friends on the face of the earth. And in the end the memory of their love is so much stronger than some physical discomfort.  On second thought... this just might be my best Birthday yet.

Same Hate - Different Excuse

I get so sick of all the B.S. around Marriage equality. Hating someone because they love someone with the same anatomy is no different than hating someone because of their skin color, eye color, or hair color. It is wrong and someday we will win the fight for equality.

A Conversation with my Wife (Phil Robertson)

“You know we have to be more careful now.” I stated hesitantly.

“What do you mean? We hardly go out, and when we do, we barley hold hands.” She said confused and slightly concerned.

“I know but with this Duck Dynasty, shit, all the bigots are going to feel justified. They feel like they have a star on their side. All the bigots are going to feel empowered. We already have to worry about hate crimes and I am very concerned that this could escalate quickly.”

“So we are making headway in so many states but this could have been a huge step backwards?” She said exasperated.

“Yes… A&E has taken a back seat in the fight, and backed down from their original statement. Phil Robertson is not just getting away with it… He won this fight, but we can’t stop. We must continue fighting for our rights. By God someday I will be able to walk hand in hand with you at the grocery store. I am so freaking sick of the hatred and bullshit. I just want to have a normal life and not live in fear.” I said beginning to rant.

“I know baby but we have each other and for now that is all that matters.” she said looking sadly into my eyes.

I kissed her gently, wrapped her into my arms, and listened to her breathe as she fell asleep. However, sleep was evasive and when I finally dosed off my fears turned into nightmares once again.

Thing that PISS me off (Being Homosexuality)

1. “Homosexuality is a sin and there is no place in heaven for gays”
I don’t fucking care. You “Religion” does not run my life and my afterlife is MY concern. You can disagree with my decision to be with a person of the same sex but you can in no way apply YOUR religion to my life. PLUS I don’t want to be in your heaven anyway.

2. “Homosexuality will lead to bestiality”
This is just fucking stupid. My wife is in no way anything near a dog or goat. The fact that people say this just shows how ignorant they really are. This statement relates to the fact that you believe that one of the people in the marriage is not a person… has not consented, and is below normal human standards.

3. “Homosexuals are pedophiles”
Also fucking stupid. Homosexuals are no more likely than straight people to be pedophiles. If I wanted to be a pedophile I would just join the clergy and have all the protection I needed.

4. “Gay sex is Gross”
For you maybe... but from the state of porn on the internet it looks like men really like to watch anal sex with women.. How is that any different? If you have ever watched anal porn or fucked your girl in the ass then you have no right to comment on the “grossness” of gay sex. Plus what people do with their privates is their own business… that is why they are called privates.

5. “Gays are promiscuous and commit Adultery”
I have never committed adultery but I was a bit promiscuous before I met my wife. Being gay has no impact on a person’s morals. I know plenty of gay people in long standing relationships. However, Even if people chose to be promiscuous and commit adultery it should have no impact on their ability to get married… Straight people are promiscuous and commit adultery all the time, but they are still allowed to get married.

6. “Gay Marriage will lead to the downfall of marriage”
WTF? More people getting married will help stabilize marriage instead of harming it. I would bet that my marriage is much more stable than 80% of Straight Americans. I had to fight for what I love and I cherish it even more due to the struggle.
